VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) — Virginia Beach officials are considering a proposal to put a giant waterslide on the Oceanfront. City resort administrator Mike Eason pitched the idea to City Council on Tuesday, proposing an area near 24th Street as the location for the "Hippo" waterslide, which would be about 168 feet long, 45 feet wide and 35 feet tall.
